If you had told me 6 years ago I would be introducing myself as a banker, I would have thought you were nuts. And yet here I am 6 years later and I really enjoy what I do. I am an underwriter for high net worth clients at one of Canada’s big 5 banks. I like solving problems, and so while you are probably thinking: “Whatever problems wealthy people have, I want the exact same” (I am right there with you). These folks have more complex credit needs and convoluted corporate structures. My work ends up feeling like a puzzle most days. It sounds pretty dry, but it’s actually kind of fun.

Now that we have the work stuff out of the way, who am I really? Well it’s tough to say, because I kind of do a bit of everything.

I’m a marketer and a creative thinker. I started a fashion blog with my fiancé/better half Katherine back in 2013 that we ran for a few years that grew larger than we even thought possible. One of the coolest things I got a chance to do was story board and execute social media campaigns for household brands like Giant Tiger and Nordstrom Ottawa.

I’m an aspiring public speaker and a committed Toastmaster. Some of my favourite topics to opine on are personal finance, finding your sweet spot in life, and the power of addressing head on self limiting beliefs.
